Conversation on Race and Gender

Last fall the Harvard Club of Georgia toured the construction site of the new National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR), where alum Doug Shipman is CEO. It was a great event, and the opening of the Center will be a highlight of the summer this year in Atlanta! (Even an article in the New York Times says so...) Another NCCHR initiative encourages personal conversations on race and gender in the homes of members of the Women's Solidarity Society.

Join Cathy Huyghe for one of these conversations. When you sign up, you'll receive a seminal article on the subject by Audre Lorde, which can be used as a jumping-off point for the conversation.

When: Thursday, February 20

Time: 6:30 to 8:30 pm

Where: Huyghe Home | 3408 Wood Valley Road NW | Atlanta GA 30327
