Sunday Suppers are casual gatherings where new ideas and stimulating conversation are the main fare at interesting restaurants. The guest speaker leads an informal discussion based on their work or topic of interest. Reservations are open to current Harvard Club of Georgia members and their guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance is limited to 12 people so that the conversation is more personal and happens around the dinner table. Purchasing a $15.00 ticket reserves your seat at the table and contributes towards the guest speaker's meal. Each attendee orders their own meal and is responsible for his/her check.

Michelle serves as the founding Director of the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs for the City of Atlanta. Having spanned two mayoral administrations, Michelle leads policy and programmatic initiatives that as they relate to public safety, civic engagement, and economic empowerment. These initiatives include expanding access to legal services for immigrants at risk of deportation, a fair housing initiative, and language access and cultural competency training for all City of Atlanta employees. As part of Mayor Bottoms’ criminal justice reforms, Michelle led the landmark decision to end immigrant detention in Atlanta and firmly supports ending detention of nonviolent migrants worldwide. Michelle has spent the majority of her career working in social justice, advancing policies and initiatives that aim to afford all residents equal access to civic life. Michelle is a graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education where her research focused on education equity youth and families.
