The HBS Club of Atlanta and the Harvard Club of Georgia invite you to a special wine tasting with award-winning wine journalist, author, and entrepreneur Cathy Huyghe (AM '04, ALM '10).
What did it take for this bottle of wine to get to our table? Asking that question at the beginning of tasting wine opens up a world of possible conversations! In this wine tasting, Cathy will focus on lessons in leadership that the winemakers, owners and growers undertook to bring each of four different bottles of wine to our table.
Cathy Huyghe is the co-founder and CEO of Enolytics, a technology-centric disruptor and provider of business solutions for the wine industry. She also writes about the business and politics of the wine industry in her column for Forbes. Cathy's writing has been seen and heard on the BBC, the Harvard Business Review, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, NPR and WNYC. Her first book, Hungry for Wine: Seeing the World through the Lens of a Wine Glass, won the World Gourmand Award for Women in Wine in 2016.
A two-time graduate of Harvard University, Cathy Huyghe has served as President of the Harvard Club of Georgia and on the Board of Directors for the Harvard Alumni Association. Cathy also founded the Harvard Alumni in Wine and Food special interest group and has worked in restaurant kitchens in Paris, Las Vegas and Berkeley, California for world-renowned chefs Alice Waters, Thomas Keller and Jean-Pierre Vigato. In 2021, Wine Industry Advisor named Cathy Huyghe one of Wine's Most Inspiring People.
