Please join us for an exciting evening as we welcome Michael Young, current President & CEO of Grady Health System, speak about turning around a non-profit hospital system. With over 28 years of healthcare industry experience, Mr. Young, who holds an executive MBA from Harvard Business School, joined Grady September, 2008. In a little more than a year, he has been able to create a profit at Grady, which provides $300 million annually of free care and historically had posted losses for thelast decade. Grady Health Systems is one of the largest health systemsin the country and plays a vital role in health care for all of Atlanta. Come hear the many changes that have taken place in this 900 bed hospital that is the city’s only Level I trauma center and coordinate our city’s response in the event of a flu pandemic. We will also enjoy a tour of Grady at the end of the event.
