Harvard at the High
Lecture by Mike Shapiro, Director, High Museum of Art on the museum's Toulouse Lautrec exhibit.

Director Michael Shapiro will share his perspective on Toulouse Lautrec
and his work in the current High exhibit. Mr. Shapiro received both his
Masters from Harvard in 1978 and his PHD from Harvard in 1980 and is a
member of the Harvard University Visiting Committee to the Harvard
Museums.

LOCATION OF EVENT:
The Woodruff
Arts Center is located in mid-town just south of the High Museum at 15th
and Peachtree. Woodruff Arts Center may be accessed via the main
entrance just west of Peachtree at 15th Street or by another door off
the courtyard between the Arts Center and the High Museum.
PARKING:
Covered parking with charge of $12 is available in the Woodruff-High Museum garage.
THE SELF GUIDED EXHIBITION TOUR: 6:00-7:00
For those of you who expressed interest in the tour itself, tickets can be picked up starting at 5:45 at the Wieland Pavillon ticket desk. (This is the building that faces South---across the courtyard from the Table 1280 Restaurant.) We believe there will be a separate line for the Harvard Club.
Recall that our group rate for tickets to the exhibition is $7.50 but tickets are free to members of the High. (Pay at the door but
RSVP required). The exhibition itself is on the 3rd floor of the Anne Cox Chambers Wing of the Museum (which is the building that faces Peachtree that is adjacent to the Wieland Pavillion where you will be picking up your tickets.)
COCKTAILS: 7:00-7:30
A Cash Bar will be available from 7:00 pm outside the Circles Room. The
Circles Room can most easily be reached from the elevator bank that is
across from the first floor gift shop near the entrance to the Symphony
auditorium.
THE LECTURE: 7:30-8:30
Dr. Shapiro will be speaking in the Circles Room on the 3rd floor of the Woodruff Arts Center at 7:30 pm.

$7.50 Optional Tour (No Cost to High Members), Cash Bar, No Cost for the Lecture

One possibility is Table 1280 Bar and Restaurant at the High Museum
which will be open until 9:30 for food and its bar open until 11:00
