Feed the Homeless Breakfast
Public Service Committee 2012
In conjunction with Harvard's Global Month of Service, The Harvard Club of Georgia's Public Service Committee will once again help Atlanta's homeless by serving breakfast and participating in a dialogue on homelessness in Atlanta.
After we serve breakfast, there will be a moderated discussion with Austin Thornton, a homeless individual who attends the weekly breakfast at the Church.
Mr. Thornton will focus his discussion on the situation at the Peachtree Pines shelter (where he lives) and the controversy involving its impending closure and what that will mean to the city.
