Annual family swim, barbeque, and club elections with a special auction of vintage windsor chair!

Swim, visit or just walk in the gardens at Dr. Kahn's home in Buckhead for our Annual Picnic.
Come by yourself or bring family and guests.

Time: Party starts at 2:30 p.m. | Food served 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Parking: Please use driveway for drop off only and for safety, park opposite the driveway on the east side of Howell Mill only.

Members and Adult Guests - $15
Non-Members and Adult Guests - $20
Middle, High & College Students - $5 
Current Harvard Undergrads  - Free
Elementary Students - Free

Picnic with a Purpose!
Vintage Windsor Chair to be auctioned at the picnic.
 
The family of Robert Howard Vaughan (‘43 B Medical School) has graciously donated to the club a true classic. Originating in the 1800's the Windsor Chair is a standard feature of dorms and offices at the University and is proudly displayed by Harvard graduates throughout the world in their homes, libraries, offices, and practices.
 
Dr. Vaughan was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, attended undergrad at University of Alabama, graduated Harvard Medical School in 1943 and settled with his wife in Columbus, GA where he practiced as a surgeon. He left this world at the age of 91 on Dec. 9th, 2011 and considered his experience at Harvard “a great adventure.” His family hopes another Harvard alum will be as delighted to own this pieces of tradition as he was.
 
Proceeds will be divided equally between the American Cancer Society and the Harvard Club of Georgia.
