Sunday Suppers are casual gatherings where new ideas and stimulating conversation are the main fare. The guest speaker leads an informal discussion based on their work or topic of interest. Reservations are open to current Harvard Club of Georgia members and Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta their guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance is limited to 12 people so that the conversation is more personal and happens around the dinner table. The dinners are Pot-luck, so please bring a dish that you can share.

Kimberley Fox, MD, MPH is the Director for the Division of Bacterial Diseases in CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. The Division’s scope covers a range of vaccine-preventable and respiratory pathogens. In CDC’s COVID-19 Response, Dr. Fox led the Vaccine Task Force and served as Deputy Incident Manager. Prior to these roles, Dr. Fox was Chief of the Immunization Systems Branch in CDC’s Global Immunization Division. In this role, she led a group of physicians, epidemiologists and health scientists conducting technical assistance, research and evaluation activities related to vaccine introduction, vaccine access and utilization, and vaccine demand, policy and communication. In earlier work, Dr. Fox was detailed from CDC to the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific in Manila, Philippines. There she worked with countries across the region on surveillance, policy, and vaccine introduction for rotavirus, pneumococcal, HPV, Japanese encephalitis and other new vaccines. Dr. Fox spent six years as the Asia Regional and Thailand Director of CDC's Global AIDS Program, leading CDC’s HIV prevention and treatment efforts in Thailand, Laos and Papua New Guinea. Dr. Fox also has experience in sexually transmitted diseases control and research at the local, state, and national levels and as an infectious diseases clinician.

Dr. Fox earned her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and her medical degree and master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina. She completed post-graduate training in internal medicine, infectious diseases and preventive medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals.
