AOCC Atlanta Mixer - March 14
In partnership with the Graduate School of Education, the Office of Student Affairs, and the Office of Admissions
We are excited to share that Harvard Graduate School of Education's (HGSE) Alumni of Color Conference (AOCC) will be extending beyond Cambridge, MA this year. Through a partnership between the Office of Student Affairs and the Admissions Team, we are piloting an AOCC "satellite site" in Atlanta, GA to build community and create opportunities for leaders in education to learn, explore, and collaborate outside of the walls of a classroom.
We invite participants to enjoy an afternoon of guest speakers, networking, and connection that is grounded in the theme of AOCC 2026: Rewriting the Narrative: Persistence as Innovation. Details on the agenda will be shared with individuals once their registration is confirmed.
AOCC is open and welcoming to participants from all backgrounds who seek to engage thoughtfully in conversations about race, class, and education. Due to AOCC in ATL being our first pilot year, we are opening attendance to HGSE alumni, current students, and newly accepted students only. We hope to continue to grow to be able to invite the broader community.
If you have any questions, please contact Ayanna Cooper, the 2026 AOCC Online Student Liaison or Taylor Goyette-Frechette, Assistant Director for Campus Inclusion, Consulting, and Community Support.
