The mission of the AOCC is to inspire and impact the improvement of the education sector by convening alumni, students, practitioners, artists, and scholars both from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and across the nation to share best practices and cutting edge research on strengthening the practices and competencies of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion that pertain to people of color in educational spaces.

The conference is open and welcoming to participants from all backgrounds who seek to engage thoughtfully in conversations about race, class, and education.
